GM 6.0L Vortec V8 VVT Remanufactured Engine (LY6 / L96) FREE SHIPPING.

This is not a used engine where you take a gamble on if it will last or if it is good. This engine is brand new fully rebuilt with zero miles. You can rest easy at night knowing this.

Build time: usually 5-7 days, plus shipping (varies by engine; contact us for current availability).

Fitment

2010 Silverado / Sierra 2500HD, 3500HD: most have the L96 (VIN G), but some early 2010 HD trucks may have the LY6 (VIN K). Confirm by VIN and pick the matching engine.

Casting numbers

• Block (LY6 and L96, cast iron): 12576181
• Cylinder heads (aluminum, rectangular port): 823 or 5364 (last digits of the casting number)

Where to find casting numbers: the block casting number is on the driver side rear of the block, just above the bellhousing flange and below the driver-side cylinder head (hard to read in the vehicle; a mirror and flashlight help). On the cylinder heads, the last three digits of the casting number are cast into the head near the corner/end, just below the valve cover.

Confirm your engine before ordering. Check the 8th digit of your VIN (K = LY6, G = L96) or the RPO code on the Service Parts Identification (SPID) label in the glove box (LY6 or L96), and choose your engine code from the dropdown. Send us your VIN to confirm fitment.
