Cam stages

Stage 1 - Daily Driver (+$1,000): Cam Motion Titan 1 (VVT-style, for late 5.7/6.2/6.4).

• 221/227 duration @ .050, .602/.602 lift, 114 LSA
• Slight performance idle. Stock converter OK, up to a 3200 stall. Works with stock exhaust manifolds.
• Est. +35-55 hp at the crank.

Stage 2 - Street Performance (+$1,000): Cam Motion Titan 2.

• 227/235 duration @ .050, .618/.618 lift, 113.5 LSA
• Noticeable lope. 2800-3500 stall converter and 1 3/4"-1 7/8" headers recommended.
• Est. +55-85 hp at the crank.

Stage 3 - Aggressive (+$1,000): custom Cam Motion grind spec'd for your combo.

• Adds about 4 weeks to the build.
• Converter upgrade required. Headers and a free-flowing intake and exhaust recommended.
• Est. +75-105 hp at the crank with supporting mods.

Other custom grind (+$1,300): any brand (Brian Tooley, Texas Speed, COMP, Cam Motion and more). Custom grinds are non-refundable.

Estimated gains at the crank with a proper custom tune; ranges, not guarantees. Results vary with tune, converter, gearing, fuel and supporting mods.

Ram truck versions: the truck 6.4L has lower compression (10.0:1), a truck intake and exhaust manifolds, and a factory rev limit around 5,800 rpm, so expect gains toward the low end of each range unless the tune and supporting parts are upgraded. Cam Motion designs the Titan cams for cars; on a Ram HD truck we'll talk through your towing use before spec'ing a stage.

We can mix and match any cam brand, usually with no increase in price.

Every stage includes

• Cam installed in your engine

• MDS delete with non-MDS lifters, standard with the engine (optional upgrade: Genuine Mopar Hellcat lifters, see Recommended add-ons)
• VVT phaser lockout

Tune required. A tune is required to run the cam. We do not tune.

Tuning checklist (Diablo home tuner)

• Use a Diablo i3 Platinum or Trinity T2 Platinum, and check that Diablo supports your vehicle.
• Newer vehicles with a locked PCM may need Diablo's unlocked PCM kit; check with Diablo using your VIN.
• Save your stock tune first.
• Book a Diablo custom (CMR) tuner before install, and send them the cam card, MDS-delete and phaser-lock info, converter, gear ratio and fuel.
• A canned tune only disables MDS and won't run a cam correctly.
• Do an idle relearn after first start.

The car/SUV and Ram truck 6.4L engines are not interchangeable (different compression, intake, heads, exhaust manifolds, oil pan and accessories). Choose your version above, and send us your VIN to confirm fitment.

If your vehicle came with MDS standard, we delete it as part of the cam install.

Returns and cancellations - This is a high-performance upgrade, so there are no refunds or returns. You can cancel within 24 hours of ordering for a full refund. Custom grind cams are non-refundable.

Shipping - Shipping is FREE within the Continental United States to commercial addresses with a forklift or loading dock, or with freight terminal pickup. Lift gate delivery is $100 and residential delivery is $200. Alaska and Hawaii shipping must be quoted before ordering, and rates vary. Contact us for a quote. Approx. shipping weight: 600 lbs. Core Charge - A core is required. Price includes a $1,000 refundable core deposit. Return your old engine within 30 days of delivery, complete and rebuildable (not cracked, holed or seized, main caps included), and we refund the core deposit after inspection. We pick up cores free from a commercial address or freight terminal. All Engines are built to order.
